Dried Bitter Gourd and Shrimp with Sesame Sauce
Overview
The two balsam pear trees planted in my mother's yard have begun to bear fruit again. The balsam pear planted in the foam box also has strong vitality. The two vines bloomed and bore fruit on almost the same day, and the balsam pear trees grew to almost the same size. When they were too small, my mother took them off and gave them to me when I came home at the weekend. I have been very busy with work these past few days and the weather has been extremely hot and muggy. It hasn’t really rained since the beginning of summer, so eating some bitter melon can prevent heatstroke and reduce fire. The small bitter gourd is paired with dried shrimp and fragrant sesame sauce. It is delicious and fragrant. The aroma of the sesame sauce completely covers up the slight bitterness of the bitter gourd. The delicious dried shrimp is also delicious. In summer, it is delicious to have a plate of this side dish as usual.
