I still want to eat the almond wreath bun after eating it
Overview
Every time I publish my bread creations on WeChat Moments, someone asks me, is this for sale? My answer is, I can make it delicious even when I eat it. Food affects mood, a good mood creates good food, and eating good food creates a good mood! The bread I made today is an almond wreath bun. The shape is simple and easy to learn. Let’s make it together!

Steps
-
Mix the ingredients except butter and yeast with chopsticks. No need to form a ball. Let it sit for about half an hour. Then add yeast and start the bread machine and knead for 40 minutes. The dough has good consistency and is not easy to break. Add softened butter after kneading for 25 minutes.
-
Use the fermentation function of the bread machine to ferment the kneaded dough directly until it doubles in size. Dip your index finger into some water and poke a hole in the middle of the fermented dough. If the hole does not shrink or collapse, it means the fermentation is complete.
-
Take out the fermented dough, deflate it, and roll it into a round shape. Divide it into 12 portions. After rolling, cover with plastic wrap and rest for 15 minutes.
-
Roll the relaxed dough into an oval shape, turn it over and flatten the long bottom edge.
-
Roll it up from top to bottom, then shape it into a long strip and let it rest for 10 minutes.
-
After ten minutes, roll out the dough.
-
Tie the long strip into a single knot first.
-
Pass the long end through the hole.
-
Connect the two ends and pinch tightly.
-
Place the shaped dough into a baking pan and put a bowl of hot water in the oven for final fermentation.
-
After the second rise, brush the surface of the dough with egg wash and sprinkle an appropriate amount of chopped almonds.
-
Place in a preheated 175-degree oven, middle rack, with upper and lower heat, and bake for about 18 minutes.
-
After taking it out of the oven, place it on a baking rack to cool, then bag it and store it in a sealed bag at room temperature. Before sealing, of course I didn’t forget to pose for a photo. Isn’t it very pretty?
