Seasoning preparation: salt, monosodium glutamate, chicken essence, sugar.

Spices preparation: star anise, grass fruit, cinnamon, bay leaves, peppercorns, chili pepper wedges, cloves, cumin, cinnamon root, tangerine peel, strawberry, dried shiitake mushrooms

Wash the peanuts, add enough water, add the above seasonings and spices (sauté the spices over low heat first), bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for half an hour. After cooking, soak for a few hours.

The cooked five-spice peanuts can be added with some carrots and diced green bamboo shoots, drizzled with some sesame oil and mix well to make a dish.
