Overview
Whether the rice intestines are braised or cooked in soup, they must be cooked whole. Wait until you are ready to eat it before cutting it into sections, otherwise there will be no powder inside and the powder will have been cooked out long ago.

Wash the pork intestines and keels with water.

Simmer the rice rolls (whole), keels, mushrooms (soaked), shrimps, ginger slices and garlic for half to two hours.

Add soaked yuba.

Simmer for another fifteen to twenty minutes. Take out the rice rolls and cut them into about an inch long, then put them back into the same pot. Add salt and other seasonings and bring to a boil.
