Beef Stir-fried Spaghetti - Western style food, when you don’t want to eat, eat noodles
Overview
The electricity in Africa is very unstable. For example, this morning, the power went out and came in and out several times. I thought that if I plugged in the rice cooker and the rice was not cooked and the power went out, it would be over, so I decisively gave up cooking. Suddenly I saw half a pack of leftover spaghetti in the cabinet, and I had a flash of inspiration. Let’s have fried noodles. Lunch must not only be full but also nutritious, so it is paired with beef and cabbage. Haha, both meat and vegetables are available. The staple food is cooked in one pot, and it is also very innovative, blah blah blah, ~~~

Pictures of main ingredients. Cut the beef into thin slices or long strips, marinate with light soy sauce, oil, shredded ginger and freshly ground black pepper for at least 10 minutes. In fact, the longer the beef becomes, the more tender it will be. If you don’t have freshly ground black pepper, you can use pepper instead, but beef and freshly ground black pepper are recognized as the best partners.

There are no special requirements for choosing pasta. You can buy whatever you like in the supermarket. Long, short, curly, shell-shaped, or bow-shaped. Children should like it very much. The colorful ones I chose look quite appetizing, haha.
-
Boil half a pot of water. After the water boils, add the pasta and cook for 7 minutes. Generally, the pasta packaging bag will indicate how long it needs to be cooked. In my case, it was 7 minutes.
-
The cooked pasta needs to be cooled immediately in cold water. The purpose of this is to make the pasta more elastic and prevent it from sticking to each other. Of course, if you have olive oil, you can also mix it directly with olive oil to achieve the same effect.
-
Add a spoonful of starch to the beef and mix well.
-
Put a little oil in the pan. After the oil is hot, pour the beef into the pot and stir-fry for a few times, then add a spoonful of cooking wine to remove the fishy smell. Dish the beef up when it changes color.
-
Leave a little oil in the pot, add 2 tablespoons of chopped chili and stir-fry until fragrant. If you don't like spicy food, skip this step.
-
Pour in the cooked pasta, stir-fry until hot, and slowly add half a bowl of water to prevent the noodles from burning.
-
Continuously add two tablespoons of light soy sauce, one tablespoon of oyster sauce, and two tablespoons of tomato sauce and stir well.
-
When the soup in the pot thickens and reduces, add the cabbage and stir-fry until the cabbage becomes soft.
-
The green cabbage is very cooked. After the cabbage becomes soft, sprinkle in green onions, a little salt, and start the pot. The portion of this pot is just enough for the two of us, so satisfying.
