Slice the beef and marinate it with corn starch and soy sauce for a while; remove the capsules of the bitter melon and slice it into pieces, mince the garlic, and wash the black bean paste.

Heat the oil in a hot pan and stir-fry the beef until it changes colour, scoop it up and set aside.

Sauté garlic tempeh in a pan until fragrant.

Pour in the bitter melon and stir-fry for a while, add some water, cover the pot and cook for two minutes.

Add beef, cover and cook for 1 minute.

Thicken. Add water, soy sauce, cornstarch and less salt to make a starchy juice.
