Overview

I originally wanted to make purple sweet potato, but I found that purple sweet potato has hair on it, so I made carrots from local materials. It is very delicious, with a wonderful texture, between soft and crispy, and tastes good. Paired with milk and fruit, it will be a delicious breakfast or afternoon tea.

  1. Put the steamed carrots, milk and egg yolk into a food processor and puree.

  2. Chop butter and soften at room temperature.

  3. Mix high flour, low flour, icing sugar, baking powder and salt evenly and sift together.

  4. Mix butter and flour.

  5. Rub well with hands.

  6. Add milk to make yellow carrot puree.

  7. Mix well to form a dough.

  8. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.

  9. Take out the dough and roll it into a thick sheet.

  10. Use flower-shaped mousse circles to press out puff pastry.

  11. Arrange on baking sheet.

  12. Place in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for 20 minutes.
