Prepare two main ingredients.

Cut the minced pork into small cubes.

Heat oil in the pot, add minced garlic and fry until fragrant.

Add the minced pork and stir-fry over low heat until cooked.

Add bean paste, mapo tofu, and sugar, stir-fry until evenly mixed.

Add an appropriate amount of water to just cover the minced meat, cover and cook over low heat for about ten minutes. When the soup thickens, add chopped red pepper and chicken essence to make the meat sauce.

Lactone tofu cut into neatly thin slices.

Arrange the tofu neatly on the plate, leaving a round space in the middle.

Boil water in a pot, add tofu and steam for 2 minutes.

Pour off the excess water in the tofu plate and spread the fried meat sauce in the center of the tofu.
