Pork Belly Stewed with Potatoes

Pork belly and potatoes are a perfect match. The pork belly is not too greasy and the potatoes are not too plain. They complement each other perfectly.

Cut the pork belly into small pieces and blanch it in hot water for 5 minutes to remove the blood

Drain the cooked pork belly

Add a small amount of oil to the pot (must be a small amount), add peppercorns and aniseed to medium heat and stir-fry

Pour in the pork belly and stir-fry until golden brown. The pork belly will release a lot of oil

Pour out the fried oil, leaving only a little oil, add various seasonings and stir-fry

Add boiling water to cover the meat and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes

After 30 minutes, add the potatoes cut into small pieces and simmer for 15 minutes
