Steamed Chicken Nuggets in Lotus Leaves
Overview
[Steamed Chicken Nuggets with Lotus Leaf Powder] Lightly scented by lotus leaves. I went to my cousin’s house and saw this lotus leaf. I asked for two and came back. To be honest, the lotus leaves bought outside are not as good as this. They were picked and dried by relatives in my hometown. They are clean and have a strong smell. I want to use this lotus leaf steamed rice to cook porridge. I like the light fragrance the most.

Steps
-
In the material picture, the lotus leaves are soaked in advance.
-
Mix the broken rice and thirteen-spice powder evenly and stir-fry in a pan until fragrant. (If you don’t have broken rice, you can go directly to the supermarket to buy steamed pork rice noodles. The ones are mixed with ingredients and can be used directly at home, which is more convenient)
-
Chop the chicken legs into pieces, soak them in salt and then marinate them with soy sauce, salt, cooking wine, onions and ginger.
-
Peel and cut potatoes into cubes.
-
Stir the fried rice noodles into the marinated chicken pieces.
-
Grasp fully and evenly.
-
Take out the cage, cover it with lotus leaves and put potato pieces on it. (Potatoes can also be floured, but I didn’t)
-
Place the mixed chicken wings on top.
-
Wrap it in lotus leaves. I used too much meat and couldn't wrap it up. I added a plate, steamed it in a basket, brought to a boil over high heat, then turned to low heat and steamed for an hour.
