Crispy fried lotus root slices
Overview
Today I’m going to make a relatively easy snack dish that can be used as a snack or as a side dish. In fact, it tastes almost like potato chips. Now let’s get started with the making

Ingredients
Steps
-
The raw materials include lotus root, fresh pepper, chopped green onion
-
First, peel the lotus root, cut into thin slices, and cut the pepper into small cubes
-
Prepare a plate, add a little salt and pepper, white sesame seeds, Knorr fried powder and flour, mix well, then drain the lotus root water and coat both sides with a thin layer of flour
-
Since the starch content of lotus root is very high, so as not to affect the effect of cooking dishes, it must first be boiled in boiling water, washed, and soaked in cold water
-
Heat the oil pan until it is 60% hot. Deep-fry the lotus roots until they are slightly brown and then take them out, because the color will become darker after being taken out, just enough to reach golden brown. Control the oil temperature by feeling. You can use a chopstick to dip some water in the oil pan to see the size of the bubbles and the speed at which they come out
-
Drain the lotus root slices
-
Add chili in the oil pan and fry briefly, then add lotus root slices, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, crushed black pepper, sesame seeds, then add chopped green onion, stir slightly and serve
