Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut 80 grams of butter into cubes and soften, then add 30 grams of sugar.
-
Add cake flour and milk and stir.
-
Knead the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest for an hour.
-
Cut the apples while the dough is resting. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces.
-
Add butter, cinnamon, lemon juice, salt, and remaining sugar.
-
Cook the apples over low heat while stirring slowly until the apples become soft and the water dries up. Mix the cornstarch and water in and stir until the filling becomes thick.
-
After the dough has rested for an hour, use a rolling pin to flatten the dough and roll it into a thin sheet.
-
Cover the pie plate with pie crust, roll it over the pie plate with a rolling pin, cut off the excess pie crust, and use a fork to make some small holes evenly on the bottom.
-
Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut into long strips.
-
Pour the apples into the pie plate, weave the small strips into a grid, adhere the grid to the pie crust at the bottom, and brush with egg yolk.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees for about 30 minutes on the middle and lower racks, until the surface is golden brown.
