Whole wheat snack bag
Overview
This whole wheat snack bun is based on a recipe from Teacher Meng. Unexpectedly, this whole wheat packet completely overturned my previous extreme views on whole wheat. Although whole-wheat bread has a rougher texture than toast or sweet bread, it doesn't have the legendary throat-straining effect. It's also very chewy in the mouth, and the more you chew it, the more delicious it becomes. Although only 15 grams of fine sugar was added, it tasted sweet

Ingredients
Steps
-
All bread ingredients ready
-
Put the ingredients except butter into the bread machine barrel and start the kneading process
-
When the dough is smooth, add softened butter and continue kneading
-
Knead out the glove film
-
The dough is rounded and put into a bucket for basic fermentation
-
When it has doubled in size, dip your fingers in flour and poke a hole in the center of the dough. If it does not shrink or rebound, it means the fermentation is complete
-
Take out the dough, place it on a mat, weigh it and divide it into 4 equal parts, roll it into balls, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 10 minutes
-
Take one of the dough and roll it into an oval
-
Roll into a roll from left to right
-
Bend both ends downward
-
Pinch the mouth tightly and roll it into a round shape
-
Place into a non-stick baking pan, process the other 3 doughs in sequence, place in the baking pan, cover with plastic wrap, and conduct secondary fermentation
-
After 15 minutes, dip one end of the rolling pin into dry flour and press down to the highest point in the middle of the dough to form a small nest. The purpose of this is to prevent the dough from rising too high. If you like a hamburger-like bun, you can ignore this step
-
When the dough has doubled in size, brush it with egg white, sprinkle with white sesame seeds, and sprinkle walnuts in the middle cavity. At this time, you can start preheating the oven to 190 degrees
-
Put in the preheated oven, heat to 190 degrees and lower heat to 160 degrees, about 16 minutes
-
Out of the oven
-
Let cool on a rack and eat when warm to your hands or store in a bag
-
Come and try it
