Pour water and fine sugar into a pot and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and stir to form sugar water. Allow the sugar water to cool and set aside
-
Crack the eggs into a large bowl, beat well, add condensed milk and honey, mix well,
-
Add vegetable oil and continue to stir evenly. Mix low-gluten flour and baking soda and sift into the thin paste. Continue to mix until it becomes a batter (just stir with a whisk). Pour in the cooled sugar water prepared in step 1 in three batches. Stir evenly each time and add the batter mixed next time
-
Cover with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 45 minutes. Be sure to let it sit, the batter will quietly undergo some magical changes during this time. Only when the batter has rested sufficiently can a beautiful honeycomb be produced
-
Coat the mold with butter for easy release. Pour the batter into the mold and place it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes
-
Cut the cake from the bottom third of the demolded cake and you will see many honeycombs. Isn’t it amazing?
