Brown sugar toast
Overview
A new baking class has begun again. When I saw Shi Xin’s toast made with brown sugar, I also wanted to eat bread. I just didn’t want to use white sugar, so I made this toast with brown sugar. Due to the addition of brown sugar, this toast has a different flavor from white toast. Brown sugar is its highlight. Although the color is slightly darker, it tastes very good.

Steps
-
First put the eggs and brown sugar into the bread bucket according to the amount, and then pour all the ingredients except flour and yeast powder into the bread bucket. I had some whipping cream left, so I used whipping cream. I could have used butter
-
Finally add the flour and yeast powder
-
Use chopsticks to stir until there is no dry powder, so that the dry powder will not splash when the bread machine is working.
-
Use two kneading programs to knead the dough to the expansion stage
-
The glove membrane can be pulled out. The dough with the brown sugar will be slightly sticky, so knead it for a few more minutes if needed.
-
Cover with plastic wrap and ferment until doubled in size
-
Deflate the fermented dough and let it rest for about 10 minutes
-
Knead the dough into a long shape
-
Braided
-
Put into bread machine.
-
Still cover with plastic wrap and ferment until doubled in size,
-
Turn on the baking function and bake for 50 minutes. When baking, it is best to wrap a layer of tin foil around the outside of the bread barrel so that the crust will be thinner.
-
Unmold the baked bread and let it cool.
