Steps
-
Wash the keel bones, winter melon, and barley separately; cut the winter melon into pieces with the skin on; (the skin of winter melon is highly nutritious and can be cooked together with the soup. If you don’t like it, you can cut it off)
-
Boil water in a pot, put the keel in and simmer for a while, then take it out and rinse away the foam with clean water;
-
Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pressure cooker, add two or three drops of vinegar, add ginger slices, dragon bones and barley; (Vinegar is added to make the calcium in the bones decompose more easily)
-
Bring to a boil over high heat, turn to medium heat, and wait for 15 minutes;
-
After you can open the lid of the pressure cooker, add an appropriate amount of salt to the soup, then pour in the winter melon cubes, re-cover and bring to a boil over high heat;
-
Finally, season with chicken essence and that’s it!
