Overview

I don’t often eat squid at home because my cholesterol is too high, but I highly recommend this Western dish because the addition of mashed potatoes, carrots, and celery adds a lot of nutrition to this dish.

  1. Wash the carrots and cut into pieces.

  2. Wash and chop celery.

  3. Cut the potatoes into chunks and steam them in a steamer.

  4. Put potatoes, carrots, celery, salt, and black pepper into a bowl and grind into puree.

  5. The squid rings are coated with a layer of starch.

  6. Place mashed potatoes into squid rings and pat flat.

  7. Add into the beaten egg mixture.

  8. Pour a little olive oil into the pan and fry the squid rings until golden brown on both sides.
