Sesame garlic beans
Overview
This kind of long beans, we call them cowpeas. We usually buy them at home and use them in cold dishes. I usually choose the slender ones with no round beans, which are best for cold dishes. My mother likes to buy the kind with bulging beans, which can be used to stir-fry or stew. Each has its own advantages and flavors. The new garlic harvested in spring and summer has a strong flavor but not spicy. It can be minced lightly with a knife. When combined with the fragrant sesame sauce, the dish will be very fragrant.
