Rose Peach Crisp
Overview
Now is the season when roses are blooming. I love roses so much that every year I try to get a lot of them, make them into paste, and then dry some of the petals to make desserts. Today I will use dried rose petals to make a rose-scented peach cake. If we talk about baked quick-serve delicacies, then Peach Cake can be one of them. There is no need to whip or stir for a long time. Just mix the ingredients together, pat them into discs, and then bake them. Not counting the baking time, it only takes about ten minutes to complete the preliminary work. It is the easiest and quickest dessert in baking, and has a very high success rate. Since peach cake requires a lot of oil and sugar, I chose healthy walnut oil, which matches the flavor of the walnut kernels inside and is healthier. The finished product is so crispy that it falls apart after you take a bite. But the disadvantage is that the cost of walnut oil is too high. If you don’t want to use walnut oil, you can use other edible oils instead, such as sunflower oil, and the cost will be reduced.

Prepare the ingredients. In order to be healthier, the baking powder must be aluminum-free

Put all the oil, sugar and eggs into a bowl and mix well

Sift low-gluten flour in advance
-
Then sift into the oil and sugar solution and knead into a dough
-
I peeled the walnut kernels by hand and cut them into small pieces

Add the prepared dried rose petals. I used this year’s flowers to dry the petals myself
-
Mix well, then let rest for half an hour, then pat into small cakes. I forgot to take a picture of the patted cake dough. Text description

The baked peach cake with the fragrance of rose is so crispy that it falls apart. Open it and look at the walnut kernels inside, as well as the slightest trace of red rose petals. The key is that it tastes like roses. If you like flowers, try it now.
