I went home during the Chinese New Year and my sister-in-law made a cold dish in the evening. I didn’t think much of it at the time because I had never eaten chicken gizzards before. But then I tasted it and found it was quite delicious. So I asked my sister-in-law how to make it, and I just happened to make it and eat it today.

  1. I have washed all the ready-made chicken gizzards I bought from outside. I must remove the yellow inner membrane of the chicken gizzards I bought from outside and wash them several times with water. After all, they are the internal organs of animals, so you can rest assured if they are clean!

  2. Put cold water in the pot, add peppercorns, aniseed, five-spice powder, cooking wine, light soy sauce, oil, and salt. Put the chicken gizzards in the pot under cold water and bring to a boil over high heat.
