Steamed Millet, Yam and Sesame Cake
Overview
My son doesn't like to eat yams and has a bad spleen and stomach recently. The doctor recommended that he eat more millet, so he made this somewhat ugly pastry. Due to a small oversight, the final dish was a bit miserable, but fortunately my son didn't mind it and ate it all. He felt that there should be more jujubes, wolfberries, and raisins. He decided to try it again when his friend's Xinjiang jujubes arrived. With the addition of sesame seeds, the aroma is much stronger. My son who doesn’t like to eat yams is finally not picky this time👻👻👻

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash millet and sesame seeds, use cooked sesame seeds
-
Glutinous rice flour
-
Corn starch
-
When making a paste, add less water. It must have a pulpy effect so that it won’t be watery when steamed
-
Dice the dried fruit, you don’t need to chop it too much, because you can still slice it after cooking
-
Before loading onto the plate, be sure to brush a layer of oil on the bottom of the plate, otherwise it will fall apart when it comes off the plate. Finally, sprinkle some crushed hawthorn cake. I made this hawthorn cake myself. Steam in cold water, turn to low heat after the water boils, and steam for another 20 minutes.
