Chibi Maruko-chan
Overview
Today when I was cleaning up my child's room, I saw a Chibi Maruko-chan doll. It was so cute, so I made a Chibi Maruko-chan bean paste bun. It turned out so cute and adorable. My child saw it when he got home and loved it so much!

-
Remove the skin from a dragon fruit, wash the surface, and cut off any excess dices on the surface😁
-
Add a small amount of water into the mixing cup and stir into juice
-
Use three bowls to divide the dough. Red: take 20 grams of red dragon peel juice and add 2 grams of yeast powder. White: 20 grams of water and 2 grams of yeast powder. Black: 10 grams of water and 2 grams of yeast powder. Mix well
-
Add 40 grams of flour to the red color to form a flocculent form,
-
Add 40 grams of flour into the white mixture and stir until it becomes flocculent
-
Black: Add 10 grams of flour and 10 grams of black rice flour, mix well to form a floc (it is the powder made from black rice)
-
Adjust slowly
-
Knead into a smooth dough that is not sticky and soft (add flour slowly)
-
Wrap them in plastic wrap respectively, put them into the bread machine to start the fermentation process, and leave them for 30 minutes
-
Insert a hole with chopsticks and it will be ready if it does not shrink back!
-
Take out and exhaust the soft circles separately
-
Roll the black dough into thin sheets, press it into a round shape with a round mold, and take it out
-
Cut in half, cut into teeth, and do hair
-
For the red one, use round molds of different sizes to press out circles, mouths, and bows. Then roll a few small circles from the white ones and stick them on the black dough to make eyes. Do everything as shown in the picture.
-
Take a ball of white dough, add bean paste filling and wrap it up with the seam facing down
-
Use some water and apply on facial features and hair respectively as shown in the picture!
-
Do everything, put it on the steamer, and perform secondary fermentation. It will take about 20 minutes. When the dough becomes obviously larger, steam it in a pot with cold water for about 12 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for about 2 minutes and open the lid.
