Cabbage and Corn Dumplings
Overview
As the saying goes: dumplings on the winter solstice, noodles on the summer solstice. In most parts of the northern part of the country, dumplings or wontons are eaten on this day. Some people also drink alcohol. It is said that they drink to warm themselves up and eat dumplings to avoid losing their ears from freezing.
