I can't eat fried food recently, and I can't make fried lotus root, so I'll just steam it.

  1. Prepare the ingredients, mince the carrots and slice the lotus roots into thin slices according to your preference. I cut them a little thin; (it’s best to choose those thin and round lotus roots when making lotus root cakes;)

  2. Add a small amount of salt, sugar, starch and oil to the minced meat, and stir together with the minced carrots;

  3. Take two lotus root slices, add appropriate amount of meat filling in the middle, and then press it tightly;

  4. Open the pot, add some water, and steam for 20 minutes; (increase or decrease the cooking time appropriately according to the thickness of the lotus root slices and personal taste, for example, if you like crispier lotus root slices; but be careful to steam them;)

  5. Take a bowl, add an appropriate amount of soy sauce, oil, sugar, starch and half a bowl of water, stir to make a sauce; then bring to a boil and pour in the steamed lotus root cake; (You can also use your favorite seasoning;)
