White dough: 300g flour + 3g yeast powder + 100g water.

Purple dough: 300g flour + 3g yeast powder + 30g purple sweet potato + 100 water. Cover the kneaded dough and let it rise at 20°C for 2 hours until the dough doubles in volume and becomes honeycomb-shaped inside.

Knead the risen dough until the surface is smooth.

After cutting into pieces, roll it into a skin. The skin should not be too thin.

Stack the two pieces of dough together.

Place the bean paste filling on the dough. The bean paste filling can be rolled into shape with flour in advance for easy wrapping.

Hold the dough with your left hand, use the five fingers of your right hand to close the dough toward the center, and finally pinch it tightly.

The packaging method is the same. Cover the prepared bean bag with a clean towel and let it sit for 10 minutes. Place it in a steamer filled with cold water. After it comes to a boil over high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 10 minutes.
