Beef and tofu soup
Overview
It has been raining in Yanji recently, and the heating has stopped early. My husband always wants to go see the scene. There's nothing more comforting in this weather than a big bowl of hot soup. The first choice is naturally beef soup. Beef and tofu are even more fragrant but not greasy. It couldn't be better.

Cut beef into 0.5 cm thick slices, cut tofu into cubes, shred ginger, slice garlic, chopped green onion, and small pieces of coriander

Pour beef into boiling water to remove blood

Sauté the shredded ginger in hot oil, then add the beef and stir-fry

Stir-fry the beef for 2 minutes and add the tofu, add a spoonful of salt to the tofu and stir-fry evenly, then stir-fry with the meat for 3 minutes

Add water, garlic slices, pepper, and a spoonful of hoisin soy sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat until the soup turns white, then turn to medium heat for 15 minutes and then to low heat for 20 minutes until the beef is cooked through.

When adding soup, heat the water and add salt according to personal taste. When eating, add chopped green onion and coriander, or you can add chili oil.
