Peel the onion and cut into strips.

Pour water, soy sauce, red wine, and cooking wine into the pot. Put the onions into the pot and turn on the heat.

After the water boils, add the beef slices. Turn up the heat and bring the water to a boil, then turn down the heat when the meat is cooked. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, turn off the heat and serve.
