Peach and Apple Pie
Overview
Some of the molds at home have only been used once and have never been touched again, and some have not been touched yet. They always buy them on a whim, but then put them aside for various reasons! We must completely get rid of these shortcomings. The small egg tart mold I used today was given as a gift when I bought the oven. It is very suitable for making fruit pies today. The size is just right for the little ones at home! So there is no need to buy a mold for making pie or pizza. Again, using the fewest tools to make the best food is what we pursue!

Cut the butter into small pieces and let it soften at room temperature
-
Add low-gluten flour
-
Then add the caster sugar
-
Mix with hands and knead into coarse powder
-
Then add it to the water
-
Then knead it into dough, put it in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour!
-
Wash and peel the peaches and apples, cut into small cubes and set aside
-
Put water and corn starch in a small bowl to make water starch and set aside
-
Add butter to the pot, keep the heat low and melt slowly
-
Then add the diced fruits and stir-fry
-
After frying for a while, add sugar and continue to stir-fry
-
After adding sugar, a lot of water will come out. Stir continuously. When half of the water is reduced, add water starch to thicken it
-
Add a little salt and stir well, then turn off the heat
-
Take out the fried fruit filling and let it cool before use!
-
Take out the refrigerated dough and divide it into two halves, roll one half into dough
-
Roll out the other half and cut it into 0.5cm wide strips
-
Use the tart mold to print a piece of dough on the dough, then press the edges and bottom with your hands and stick it to the mold
-
Put it inside the fruit, don’t go past the top
-
Cut the small strips and weave them into a grid on the mold!
-
After braiding, press off the excess dough strips on the edges
-
After everything is done, brush with a layer of egg wash
-
Finally, put it in the oven at 185 degrees, middle layer, for about 30 minutes, until the surface is golden brown!
