Golden taro sticks
Overview
I made some taro sticks by steaming and pressing the taro, and then wrapped it in golden fried powder. The golden color looks like small gold bars. It’s almost the Chinese New Year, so it’s very festive and I’ll give it a good thumbs up! I wish everyone good fortune in 2016!

Wash, steam and peel the taro

Press the peeled taro into a puree, add a tablespoon of peanut butter and mix well

Then add appropriate amount of sugar and mix well

Take an appropriate amount of taro paste and roll it into long strips

Coat with starch

Then wrap it in egg wash

Finally, wrap it in bread crumbs

Heat a small pot of salad oil and add taro strips. Because the taro paste is cooked, it only needs to be fried for a while

Remove and absorb oil
