Wash the yam beans and steam them over water for about ten minutes until cooked.

Heat a pan, add 50 grams of water and 50 grams of sugar.

Heat over low heat until the water evaporates, the syrup becomes thick, and a layer of small bubbles forms on the surface.

Turn off the heat and add about seven or eight grams of white vinegar. Pour in the yam beans and stir quickly, shaking the pot constantly to cool down the syrup.

When the syrup cools, it will turn into icing sugar and stick to the yam beans.
