Bombing the giant squid
Overview
Bombed giant squid is a hot seller at night market food stalls. Some say it is a Taiwanese snack. Some say it is a Korean snack. I don’t know when it started to be loved by everyone. My husband is always clamoring for food. I have to queue up every time I go to buy something. I went to the supermarket and saw ice squid. Buy it and make it yourself. I feel more confident in what I make. Post the steps. Share it with friends who love this treat.

Steps
-
Wash the iced squid. Eye removal. Remove the bones. Eviscerate. Coat both sides with salt and cooking wine. Cut the squid open. Symmetrical on both sides. Don't break in the middle. Add onion, ginger and garlic. Marinate for 20 minutes.
-
Roll the marinated squid in the eggs. Prevent the squid from becoming hard after being fried for a long time. (Based on personal preference. You can also ignore this step.)
-
Coat the squid with starch on both sides.
-
Pour oil into pan. Hot pan. Slide in the starchy squid. (Because the pot at home is too small, I can’t skewer the squid and then fry them. I fried them separately and then skewered them.) Fry until both sides are golden brown. Ready to serve.
-
Remove from the pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cumin. You can also apply sweet chili sauce and black pepper according to your personal taste. They are all delicious.
