Sunflower Pie Bread
Overview
I fell in love with this bread at first sight. I love its cute shape, the possibility of adding fillings, and how easy it is to make. Still use a whisk to knead the dough. The style is based on Yuye Nina’s, thank you!

First add 140 grams of pure milk and 1 teaspoon of yeast into the egg beater bucket.

Then put 200 grams of high-gluten flour, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 20 grams of sugar into the bucket.

Turn on the egg beater, set the speed to medium or level 3 throughout, and knead the dough according to the beat-for-3-minutes-stop-for-3-minutes procedure.

After beating for 2 3-minute rounds, add olive oil to the bucket, continue beating 3, stop 3, and beat for another 2 3-minute rounds until a large film appears on the dough.

Place plastic wrap on the bucket and ferment until 2-3 times in size. Remove and deflate, divide into 2 basically the same portions, roll into balls, and let stand for a few minutes.

Wipe the 9-inch pizza pan dry and rub olive oil all over.

Grease the board with a little oil, take a piece of dough and roll it into a round shape.

Place the dough into the pizza pan, arrange it until it almost covers the pizza pan, take a bowl and turn it upside down to make a circular mark.

Put an appropriate amount of bean paste filling into the circle and flatten slightly. Brush the outside of the circle with olive oil and sprinkle with black sesame powder.

Roll out the other dough ball into the size of a pizza pan and carefully cover it on top of the pizza pan.

Gently arrange the two cakes into the same size with your hands, and then use a bowl to make a circular mark.

Gently lift up the two round cakes and use scissors to cut into 16 equal parts outside the circle.

Flip each portion so it is bottom side up.

Ferment until about 1.5 times in size. Brush the surface with pure milk, sprinkle white sesame seeds inside the circle, and sprinkle black sesame seeds in the center. Then dip the brush in milk and gently press the sesame seeds to make them firm.

After preheating the oven, set the middle layer to 180°C for about 22 minutes. The color will be golden and it will pop up when pressed with chopsticks.
