Potato and Yam Balls
Overview
I was lucky enough to get a trial of the Kewpie series of products. I immediately made the vegetable salad and this shrimp ball that everyone loves. Very popular!

Slice potatoes and yam into sections and steam them in a steamer.

Wash the shrimps, remove their heads, and draw out the shrimp threads.

Add a little salt, light soy sauce, cooking wine, and ginger to marinate.

Steam in a steamer until cooked.

Steam the potatoes and yams and mash them into a puree while hot, add a little salt.

Add a little black pepper.

Mix well.

Wrap the shrimps in mashed potato and yam, leaving the tail exposed, and shape them into balls one by one.

Also prepare starch, beaten eggs and bread crumbs.

First, roll the spherical mashed potatoes and yam in corn starch and coat it evenly with starch.

Then roll it in the egg liquid and coat it evenly with a layer of egg liquid.

Finally, roll it in bread crumbs and coat evenly with a layer of bread crumbs.

Fry in oil pan until golden brown and serve. (Since the ingredients are all cooked, the frying time does not need to be too long)
