Piano Key Banana Cake Roll
Overview
I have made cake rolls many times, but usually only the simplest ones. There are very few cake rolls with patterns like this. It's a bit time-consuming and laborious to make, but it also builds your patience and perseverance. When the finished product is presented in front of you, the exclamation, joy and sense of accomplishment from the heart are also something that others cannot experience.

-
Put the egg yolks and whites into two containers.
-
Make egg yolk paste: Add 25 grams of sugar to egg yolks and beat evenly with a whisk. Then add oil, 50ml water, and vanilla extract in sequence and continue beating evenly. Finally, sift in low flour and mix evenly with a spatula.
-
Using a whisk, add 30 grams of fine sugar in three batches and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
-
First add 1/3 of the egg whites into the egg yolk paste and mix evenly, then pour the egg yolk paste into the egg whites and mix evenly.
-
Prepare two small bowls, put 2 tablespoons of mixed cake batter into each bowl, then add 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder and cornstarch each and mix well. Put them separately into piping bags.
-
Place a piano keyboard picture in a 25*30cm baking pan, and cover it with a layer of oil paper.
-
First, squeeze the cocoa paste into the black key, bake it in the oven at 160 degrees for one minute, then squeeze in the white cake batter to make the white key, bake it for 1.5 minutes and take it out.
-
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder with 10ml of hot water and mix it into the cake batter to make a lighter colored cocoa cake batter.
-
Pour the cake batter into the baking pan, smooth it out, knock out any air bubbles, and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 14 minutes.
-
Place the baked cake upside down on a baking sheet to cool naturally.
-
Whip the light cream until stiff and prepare the bananas.
-
Dissolve 5 grams of sugar in 10 ml of water, then add a little rum and brush it evenly on the cake slices.
-
Then spread the buttercream evenly and arrange the banana segments.
-
Roll up the cake slices from bottom to top, wrap both ends with oil paper and refrigerate for half an hour.
-
Take out the refrigerated cake roll, cut both ends evenly, and decorate.
-
Put it into a plate with sheet music 🎼 printed on it, and put the real sheet music next to it.
-
Look, there are new decorations! Found it?

Come and see clearly!

Pipe a line of cream frosting on the cake roll, and place the treble clef and musical notes 🎵 made of chocolate on the cream frosting. It will be more complete!
