Spicy glutinous rice cake with tomato sauce
Overview
Ciba is made by placing cooked glutinous rice in a stone trough and pounding it into a puree with a stone hammer. The glutinous rice cake is soft, fragrant and can be roasted, boiled, pan-fried or fried. Today’s glutinous rice cake is made with tomato sauce and chili sauce. It is sour, salty, glutinous and has an attractive golden color.

Prepare glutinous rice cake and tomato sauce.

Chop onion, ginger and garlic into mince and set aside.

Fry the glutinous rice cakes in oil until soft and lightly browned on both sides, then remove and set aside.

In the oil pan, saute the onion, ginger and garlic until fragrant.

Add tomato sauce and stir-fry.

Add a spoonful of chili sauce and stir-fry.

Add a spoonful of oyster sauce, a small amount of oyster sauce, sugar and chicken powder to taste.
