  1. First make the crispy nuggets: mix 20g of granulated sugar, 20g of room temperature butter, 20g of almond flour and 20g of low flour, and knead into small pieces to form crispy nuggets.

  2. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces.

  3. Add 10 grams of butter to the pot and heat to melt, add 25 grams of brown sugar and stir-fry until the sugar dissolves.

  4. Add apples, cranberries, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder in sequence and cook over low heat for 3 minutes. (I didn’t have cranberries and used dried raisins instead)

  5. Add a spoonful of water starch to reduce the juice and turn off the heat.

  6. Place apples into baking bowl.

  7. Sprinkle with puff pastry. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

  8. Place in the middle rack of the oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes until crispy and slightly golden.
