Pan-fried sweet meal
Overview
Sweet and thin meal is a traditional snack in Guangdong. In our local restaurants, you can almost find sweet and thin meal as a snack. And every time we go for morning tea, we order one. It's soft, glutinous, sweet, and very delicious.

Prepare the filling first, put the peanuts into the wok and stir-fry until fragrant

Rub the peanut red coat off with your hands

You can also grind the peanuts with a grinder or use a rolling pin,

Mix with sesame seeds, sugar and coconut and set aside

Pour water into the glutinous rice flour. The amount of water is for reference only. It needs to be poured in slowly, not all at once

Knead into a glutinous rice ball of moderate hardness and divide into 4 small portions

Heat oil in a pot, add one of the glutinous rice balls

Use your fingers to flatten the glutinous rice balls

Then use a shovel to press the glutinous rice ball even more

Fry both sides until thoroughly cooked

Place on a plate, cover with fillings, roll up and cut into pieces.
