Braised Chicken with Three Vegetables
Overview
My husband loves Huang Jihuang's stewed pot. You can't learn Huang Jihuang's secret seasoning secretly. I want to make a home version of the stewed pot with ready-made seasonings. Plus, I don't like frying dishes with a lot of fumes. I won't fry anything that can be steamed and stewed. Guan Jian's husband doesn't like vegetables and prefers meat. By doing this, he likes to eat the side dishes. The first time I made it, it tasted good and the chicken was very tender. I will improve it step by step in the future.

Cut the chicken into cubes, add salt, soy sauce, chicken essence, and cornstarch. Mix and let it sit for ten minutes to add flavor. Add a little more soy sauce because I added less salt.

Potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, cut into hob shapes.

Heat some oil in a pan, put the garlic in and fry it.

Cover the lid and let it simmer. My stew pot doesn't have a lid, so I can just use the lid of a wok.

Turn it over in about ten minutes

If you want it spicy, add some chili pepper.

Open the pot and simmer it. The potatoes and sweet potatoes taste good.
