Add water to the glutinous rice and soak it for 10 hours;

Chop the water chestnuts into pieces;

Add minced water chestnuts to the minced meat;

Add salt, half a spoon of soy sauce, half a spoon of cooking wine and half a spoon of sesame oil and mix well;

Form the mixed ground meat into meatballs;

Wrap the soaked glutinous rice around the meatballs;

Steam the wrapped glutinous rice meatballs over high heat for 10 minutes and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
