Oil-free banana date walnut bread
Overview
A fairly simple recipe, only three sentences in total. There are many details to find out for yourself. All ingredients are measured in cups, which is too inconsistent with my own habits. Although it is still taken by the cup, the grams are recorded so that it can be repeated later. Bananas and dates are both sweet enough, so there’s no need to use as much sugar as possible. I guess I’ll reduce the sugar a bit, hoping it won’t be too sweet. After cooking the dates, remove from the heat and add the flour. But there is no prompt whether to add it after cooling or immediately. I thought if I added it immediately, wouldn't it be burning the noodles? It might be safer to add it after cooling. There is no whole wheat self-rising flour, so I refer to the ingredients of whole wheat self-rising flour and add dry yeast. I regretted it later, maybe I could add some baking powder so that it would rise better and faster. However the dough is already in the mold. Otherwise, don't bake it directly and let the dry yeast rise slowly, which may have a better hair-raising effect. 35 degrees, fermentation for more than 40 minutes. The dough really rose. Bake it to brownish red, let it cool and then slice it, it feels really good. Perhaps because it has risen for a while, the bread appears slightly chewy. Maybe this is not the taste of the original version? . . . .
