I don't like eating whole grains the most, and even one steamed bun is not enough for me.

Pour boiling water into the cornmeal and stir evenly.

Let cool, add yeast and sugar.

Pour in wheat flour.

Add appropriate amount of warm water and stir until fluffy.

Knead into a smooth dough.

Knead the dough to release air.

Divide into even portions.

Arrange into steamed buns and rise for the second time.

Pour cold water into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium heat and cook for 15 minutes. If the steamed buns are large, cook for 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove from the pan.
