Delicious Braised Chicken Feet
Overview
A dish you won’t be able to put down. There are many ways to make chicken feet. Braised chicken feet is actually very simple to make. It mainly relies on soaking to add flavor. When you want to eat it, braise it in advance and just take it out to nibble. It is very convenient. I used to buy stewed vegetables from outside, but now I don’t need to cook them myself. It’s not only delicious but also clean.

The spice bag is a mixture of 20 different spices, totaling 20 grams. If you wrap it in a bag, the inside of the pot will be very clean, and you don’t have to worry about chewing the spices when eating: bay leaves, peppercorns, cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, cumin, fragrant sand, tangerine peel, cardamom, grass fruit, cloves, allspice, coriander seeds, angelica slices, licorice slices, thyme, kaempferol, Amomum villosum, galangal, and peppercorns.
-
Wash the chicken feet with running tap water and set aside
-
Put the washed chicken feet into the pot, cover the chicken feet with water, turn up the heat, cover the pot and bring to a boil. After the water boils, open the lid and continue to cook for 5 minutes and turn off the heat.

Clean the pot, put the spice bag, ginger, green onions and dried chili peppers into the pot and set aside

Put the chicken feet into the pot

Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, and salt into the pot
-
Add cold water to the pot and cover the chicken feet with water (note: I added a little more water today because I want to make a long time)
-
Cover the pot, turn on high heat, and bring to a boil. After the water boils, turn off the heat and simmer for 1 hour. Continue to turn on high heat and bring to a boil, turn off the heat, open the lid of the pot, and marinate the chicken feet in the pot for 3_4 hours. Once the chicken feet are flavorful and cool, take them out and eat as you please.

Don't throw away the remaining marinade. If you don’t plan to cook other braised vegetables in the past two days, filter out the marinade, pack it in a box or plastic bag, and put it in the quick-freezer to make the old braised vegetables next time. I want to cook it again tomorrow, so I will put it in the refrigerator for now. Wuxi has started to get hot in the past two days, and it will go bad if left outside. It doesn't matter in winter. You guys can decide for yourself based on the temperature.
