Blackcurrant Nut Bread
Overview
A friend who does private baking sent me a Starry Sky Bread last time. What the children eat is a joy. So I have always wanted to make Starry Sky Bread. Plenty of walnuts, fragrant black sesame seeds, cereal that enhances the texture, and then the wheat flavor of wheat flour used in the golden arowana bread. I love using this flour. The bread made with it smells rich of wheat and has excellent stringing effect. I couldn’t see it clearly when I cut it with a bread knife, but its softness is really amazing. You can see it clearly by looking at the last picture.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Ingredients for this bread: 375g wheat flour for Arowana bread, 195g milk, 1 egg, 30g sugar, 5g fine salt, 5g yeast, half a teaspoon of blackcurrant powder, 50g corn oil
-
Add milk, eggs, sugar, and fine salt to the bucket of the bread machine.
-
Then weigh the arowana bread with wheat flour and put it into the bucket. Then add yeast and blackcurrant powder.
-
Select the one-touch sweet bread mode of the bread machine and knead the dough until smooth.
-
Then add the weighed corn oil. Note that after adding this step, cover the barrel with baking paper so that the oil will not get out of the barrel during kneading.
-
Knead until the oil and dough are completely combined, then add walnut kernels, black sesame seeds and oatmeal.
-
Then all the remaining steps are handed over to the bread machine. After three hours, a super large and full-flavored bread is ready.
-
Let it cool and cut it open. The texture is really good. I need to add more blackcurrant powder next time, so that the feeling of dreamy starry sky will be much stronger.
