Spicy Tofu
Overview
This spicy tofu is slightly numb and spicy, especially suitable for people like me who want to eat in their hearts but can’t handle it in their mouths😄

Cut the tofu into cubes and blanch it in a pot of boiling water to remove the beany smell and make the tofu more tender

Drain the blanched tofu and set aside

Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion, ginger and aniseed

Add 1 tablespoon light soy sauce and 1 teaspoon sugar

Add chili powder

Add half a bowl of water

Cook for two or three minutes and add the dried shrimps

When the soup is reduced and there is not much left, add minced garlic

Pour in the water starch and stir-fry gently. Do not stir-fry the tofu into pieces

Pour in Sichuan peppercorn oil, gently push evenly and remove from the pan

The finished product is slightly numb and spicy, with the aroma of garlic and dried shrimps. It is especially delicious with rice
