Lightweight French Savory Cake
Overview
Ever since I started baking, I have always made sweet cakes. When I saw Mr. Kojima's French salty cake, my eyes lit up. It also uses three chopsticks to stir, which is very novel and unique. Fillings can be added as per your preference. If you love health, don’t miss this light-weight cake. The mold is a long non-stick pound cake mold from the School Kitchen. Line the pound cake mold with cut oil paper, covering the bottom and all sides.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Filling preparation. Cut all the vegetables, pour an appropriate amount of salad oil into the pan and heat it, then add the vegetables (except the chives), add salt and white pepper when they are almost cooked, stir-fry and set aside.
-
Next we will make the cake base. Mix low-gluten flour, baking powder and cheese powder. You can put them in a ziplock bag and shake them well.
-
Crack the eggs into the eggbeater and beat with a manual eggbeater.
-
Add milk and salad oil, and mix evenly with a manual egg beater.
-
Add salt and white pepper and mix well. Remember that the entire operation should be smooth, as once it stops, the oil and water will separate.
-
Sieve into the second step and mix well.
-
Prepare 3 chopsticks and hold them as shown in the picture so that they form a triangle.
-
Hold the chopsticks and draw circles clockwise. The edge of the chopstick must reach the egg-beating bowl. Each time the chopsticks move one circle, the egg-beating bowl rotates 1/4 turn in the opposite direction.
-
Make about 40 circles until the batter is roughly mixed.
-
Pour in the vegetables and chives prepared previously and stir evenly with a spatula.
-
Mix the batter well.
-
Pour into a pound cake mold lined with greaseproof paper and shake a few times. Arrange with garnished cherry tomatoes and bell peppers.
-
Put it into the preheated oven, set the upper and lower heat to 180℃, middle layer, and bake for 50 minutes.
-
After taking it out of the oven, remove from the mold and let it cool.
