Frosted Gingerbread Man
Overview
It is said that starting from December, the year-end carnival begins. Winter Solstice, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Spring Festival are all coming one after another. The streets and alleys are filled with festive decorations, and men, women and children are full of festive smiles. It doesn't matter whether it is a traditional festival or a foreign festival, as long as it can make everyone happy, any festival will do! No, during Christmas and New Year's Day, the chef also made some gingerbread cookies for friends. Baking cookies and painting icing was quite fun, and my daughter also joined in the fun and insisted on drawing a few to give to her classmates. Look, the picture above is her daughter’s creation. She still felt that she was not satisfied and insisted on letting me bake a few more dishes for her to paint and play with. My mother and I finally started a PK. Her father said that I made traditional patterns, and my daughter made more unique ones. Look, there are also bikinis. It seems that this baking is also a good project for parents and children!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Soften butter at room temperature, add powdered sugar, and beat until pale.
-
Add the egg liquid and honey in portions and beat evenly. (I added brown sugar honey).
-
Add brown sugar to warm water and dissolve.
-
After cooling, pour in and stir evenly.
-
Sift in cake flour + cinnamon powder + turmeric powder.
-
Use a spatula or your hands to mix into a dough, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for half an hour.
-
Divide the dough into 3-4 portions of suitable size and roll into 2mm sheets. Use a fork to poke some small holes in the dough.
-
Use a mold to emboss the pattern. Continue to roll out the excess and press the pattern.
-
Spread the pressed biscuit dough evenly on the baking sheet (except for the non-stick mold, use oil cloth).
-
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees for 10-15 minutes. (Adjust the temperature according to the temperament of your oven). I hope the darker ones can be left in the oven to simmer for a while after the time is up.
-
Add 25 grams of egg white to 5 ml of lemon juice and 150 grams of sugar and powder, and beat with a hand mixer until thick.
-
Divide the icing sugar paste into five parts, leaving some more white. Add the remaining four color pastes and mix thoroughly.
-
Insert the piping tape and cut a small opening.
-
Draw the pattern you like according to your own preferences.
-
Leave to dry.
-
The cute gingerbread is ready.
-
It’s very respectable to put it in a bag and give it away.
