Crispy Carrot Cake

In various food markets and teahouses in Guangdong, you can mostly find carrot cake as a snack, either fried or steamed and cut into pieces and eaten directly with sauce. It is a very popular snack. Prepare the ingredients: radish, sausage, dried shrimp, pork belly, and garlic sprouts.

Peel the radish, wash and shred.

Place in a large basin

Wash and remove the whiskers from the garlic sprouts, chop the heads and tails separately, dice the sausage, dice the pork belly, and wash the dried shrimps.

Pour the rice flour into a basin and set aside.

Heat the pan, add pork belly and stir-fry until oil is released.

Add Chinese sausage and dried shrimp and continue stir-frying for a while.

Pour in the garlic and stir-fry evenly.

Add salt, chicken powder, and a little sugar.

Add shredded radish, stir-fry evenly, turn off heat

Add appropriate amount of water to the rice flour in the basin to make rice paste (thick state is enough)

Scoop up the stir-fried ingredients in the pot and pour them into the rice paste.

Mix well with a wooden spatula

Take a large basin and smear a little cooking oil on the bottom.

Pour the mixed ingredients into a basin, lift the basin and gently shake the ingredients to level them.

Put it in a pot and steam over high heat for about 35 minutes.

Insert chopsticks into the rice noodles and pull them out. If there is no rice noodles sticking to the chopsticks, it means it has been steamed.
