Cut the pepper into sections with scissors, and slice the onion and garlic into slices.

Add the silkworm chrysalis, bring the pot to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 3 minutes and turn off the heat.

Cut the silkworm chrysalis in half lengthwise, remove the black heart in the middle and set aside;

Put the cut silkworm chrysalis into a large bowl, add refined salt and dry starch.

Set the pot over high heat, add vegetable oil and heat until 50% hot.

Fry the silkworm chrysalises piece by piece in a pan until the silkworm chrysalis takes shape and turns light yellow.

When the oil temperature rises to 7-8 hot, add the silkworm chrysalis and fry until crispy, take it out.
