pocket sandwich
Overview
For children's breakfast, as a mother, I want my children to have a more balanced diet. I hope my children can eat more and comprehensively within a limited time. Pocket bread (pitabread) is one of the staple foods in the Middle East. It is made with simple ingredients and does not require oil, so it is a low-calorie bread. Pocket bread can be used to make pocket sandwiches of various flavors. This pocket bread has a big belly and can be filled with all kinds of vegetables and fillings. It is convenient to eat and the ingredients will not fall out easily. It is a good choice for breakfast.

Steps
-
Put 130 grams of water, 5 grams of fine sugar, 2 grams of salt, and 200 grams of high-gluten flour in order in the bread barrel. Dig a hole and bury 2 grams of yeast powder.
-
When kneading dough, open the top lid of the bread machine. Knead the dough until it is malleable. I used the dough kneading program of the bread machine and kneaded it for 23 minutes.
-
Put the dough into the bread machine, cover the bucket with a plastic bag, and then close the lid to prevent moisture loss. Use the remaining temperature after kneading the dough in the bread machine for fermentation. Let dough rise until approximately doubled in size.
-
Dip your hands in some flour. Take the dough out of the bucket and divide it into five equal portions (each portion is about 66 grams). Dip some flour into a round shape, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for fifteen minutes.
-
Roll the dough into a piece about 20 cm long, about 9 or 10 cm wide, and about 0.3 mm thick. The wider the dough piece is, the bigger the mouth of the pocket will be, making it easier to hold ingredients in the back.
-
Place the rolled bread dough into the baking pan, preheat the oven for fermentation, and ferment at 40 degrees for about fifteen minutes.
-
Take out the fermented dough and preheat the oven to 220 degrees for upper heat and 200 degrees for lower heat. Wait until the heating tube goes dark, then place the baking sheet into the middle and lower rack of the oven. Bake for about 6 or 7 minutes.
-
People must not leave the baking process because the oven temperature is very high and the dough expands very quickly. It will burn if it takes a little longer. Wait a minute for the bread to puff up like a balloon and take it out of the oven.
-
Let cool slightly, then cut at the waist with scissors.
-
With a little push of the hand, the pocket will open.
-
Prepare the lettuce, put a piece of large ham sausage on top (I don't have big ones at home, only small ones), then add fried eggs, and spread with various sauces. Today I spread Thousand Island sauce, and then sprinkle in chopped peanuts. You can also add fried shredded potatoes and fried shredded pork.
-
Put your favorite sauce on the fried eggs, such as tomato sauce, sweet and sour sauce, salad dressing, etc. Pair it with a bowl of oatmeal soy milk.
-
A nice-looking, nutritious and rich pocket sandwich is ready. Have milk or soy milk for breakfast.
