Three-strand braided bread
Overview
Three-strand braided bread, beautiful shape, golden color, delicate and soft texture...it is inseparable from a good oven and a good bread machine, and I happen to have the excellent Cass 960A steam oven, and the hands-free Dongling 6D bread machine, which can make bread in 20 minutes!

Put all the bread ingredients except butter into the bread machine, start the dough mixing program and set it for 20 minutes

Check the dough after kneading for 10 minutes. If there is a thick film, add butter. Knead until you can pull out the glove film that is not easy to break

Shape the dough into a ball and put it into a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise

Dip your hands in flour and insert into the dough. If it does not collapse or shrink, the fermentation is complete

Divide the dough evenly into 6 parts, then divide it evenly into 3 parts, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 20 minutes

Take 3 small portions and shape them into long strips

Braid three strands

Start the fermentation function of the oven, set it to 38 degrees, and set it to 50 minutes

Make egg yolk liquid: Add egg yolks to milk, mix well, sift and pour into a spray bottle

Take out the fermented dough and preheat the oven to 170 degrees

Spray the egg yolk liquid evenly on the bread dough

Decorate with sliced almonds

Oven at 170 degrees for 15-18 minutes

Immediately after taking out the oven, put it on a drying rack until it is warm to your hands, then seal it and store it
